 After 20 years of experience working for a coffee machine company, Giuseppe Brugnetti founded the "Officine Brugnetti" company, which produced coffee machines, whipped creamers, milkshakes and chopping machines under the "Aurora" brand name on  23.05.1947 .  

The first coffee machines consisted of a vertically positioned boiler (column-shaped coffee machines) and a coal heating system typical of the time.

Materials such as copper and stainless steel began to be used in the manufacture of coffee machines, the design and aesthetics were improved, and the hydraulic unit and lever unit were introduced in 1950.

Coffee machines were launched on the market. By installing a rotary pump, they provided the pressure needed to brew coffee, which had previously been created by hydraulic groups that required an exaggerated consumption of water, or by lever-type groups that provided excellent performance but were slow and tiring for the user in 1960.

In 1980, studies began on the application of dosing systems, initially timed and then volumetric, which were also managed electronically.

End of the 80s beginning of the 90s: The company is passed on to his son Paolo, who from now on is responsible for the design and manufacture of coffee machines, increasing the size of the company as it grows, especially on world markets.

The name "Aurora" was replaced by "Brugnetti" to better identify both the company and the product's distinctly Italian origins.

2010 : From this moment OFFICINE BRUGNETTI redesigns its image. They acquire a new building with a large warehouse where they can produce more machines, adopt a more advanced logistic system, optimize product design with the help of a designer.  The company exports 98% of its turnover all over the world.

2017 : The 70th anniversary of the birth of the company is celebrated. In this occasion the new coffee machine "GIULIA" is born, customizable by the customer in the technical features and colours, with thermosiphonic system of the uncovered automatic dispensing group.

2020: The "GIULIA" model is restyled with technical improvements such as shot timers, uncovered groups and rear panel with new led graphics. A new smaller and more compact version "GIULIA Compact" was designed, prepared for connection to the water mains and with inside water tank.         

The company exports 98% of its turnover all over the world.

2023 : At the HOST trade fair presentation of the new model "AURORA’ multiboiler coffee machine, the name evokes the beginnings of our corporate history. Introduction of coffee column and the water column also for drawing hot water or water at room temperature useful for the preparation of drinks.

In 2023, Chea Hour went to Hanoi and studied gelato course in MENMOT (Rubicone distributor in Vietnam) and started completing her dream of gelato shops. That dream came true with Mona Gelato from many potential partners and chef Antonio - CEO - TADAVINA and Chef Andrea - CEO Gelati, Angela - Chef of Citta del Gelato, Chef Sara - Innova Italia Gelato, Alexandro - CEO Gelatec. The founders desire to bring luxury gelato and cafe for all customers.

In English, however, the term has come to be used to refer to a specific style of ice cream derived from the Italian artisanal tradition.

Since years ago, Chef Mr Tuan (Antonio)followed from Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, Korrea, Italy and Greece… Nowadays we have other concept named MonaGelato in Cambodia.

Anyone familiar with MonaGelato knows that our gelato and cafe is unrivaled because we make it with simple, fresh ingredients like Organic milk and fresh fruit.
We have been making gelato and cafe since 2023 and control every step of the process from making the base mix at our production facility to finishing the gelato on site at each gelato shop to ensure the highest quality. We carefully select the best Italian ingredients and don’t use any artificial colorings, flavorings or preservatives in our gelatos and sorbets.
This is what sets us apart from other ice cream and gelato shops. MonaGelato is not the simplest or least expensive in the frozen-dessert space, but the taste of our gelato and the joy it brings our guests, makes the effort worthwhile.
